Biz Aid, LLC Recycling
Making recycling simple and saving money on waste services is the goal that Biz Aid, LLC Recycling likes to keep in mind. Biz Aid, LLC was started in Coldwater, Michigan by Samantha Buterbaugh when she was 26 years old. At the time she didn’t even want to touch the cardboard, but now with endless possibilities, she fulfilled her dreams of being an entrepreneur and growing her business to help support recycling in her area.
Biz Aid, LLC has goals to help increase commercial recycling within the county, as well as residential. One way they work to accomplish this is through education. Biz Aid, LLC understands that educating our communities is the biggest way that we are going to see a shift in support for recycling. Samantha educates on a variety of platforms, including social media to make sure that people are made aware of what is going on, especially during the holidays. Another avenue she focuses on is through field trips with schools or speaking at schools. The kids are eager to learn and get involved, but the best way to connect for Biz Aid, LLC has been through the educators. Parents, teachers, 4H leaders, libraries, and many more educators are out there and want to focus on what recycling can offer both themselves and the community.
“The best way to educate, is to reach out to those who educate others.”
This is important when they look to the state level for support. Biz Aid, LLC wants to see more state support for local level recycling. They want counties to get people to focus on what is happening with our solid waste. There are not many committees, organizations, or groups that are assisting the great ideas that Biz Aid, LLC has.
Future growth for Biz Aid, LLC, looks to the goal of getting into their own facility. The materials are there for them to expand. The only thing holding them back, is not having somewhere to put them. This is an important issue for them to work on, but it still hasn’t stopped them from filling multiple semi trucks, packed with televisions that they have saved from going into a landfill. Biz Aid, LLC sees the opportunity that recycling has for communities, and they won’t stop until recycling is made simple for all.
