Dr. Shrink

Dr. Shrink, Inc. is a full-service, full-circle supplier of premium shrink-wrap and all installation supplies and accessories. Dr. Shrink, Inc. strives to anticipate and innovate all of their products and services to meet the needs of current and future customers. Dr. Shrink saw a need for more productive uses for the premium plastics they sold over a decade ago when they started the Recycle Run program for marine shrink-wrap. Part of their mission now, is continuing to keep boat wraps out of landfills, ensure they are properly recycled, and eventually used in post-consumer materials and products. 

Since laying the foundation for the Recycle Run program, Dr. Shrink has worked year after year to ensure the growth and success of its recycling initiative, collaborating with Michigan Recycling Coalition and Bay Area Recycling for Charities to provide services and promote the Recycling Run. They hope this model of producer responsibility, and dedication to shrink-wrap recycling, will continue to spread to other states. So far, programs in Maryland, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine have modeled their Shrink Wrap Recycling bag to help their communities establish an easy and painless way to recycle boat covers year after year. They have supplied businesses in the upper Midwest and Northeastern U.S with recycling bags and will continue to look for opportunities to be a part of the recycling solution.
