Where Can I Recycle?

There are many opportunities to recycle in Michigan, with about 60% of the state’s population having access to curbside recycling. According to a recent report, there are 36 material recovery facilities, 313 transfer stations, 243 organics facilities, and 663 drop-off facilities across the state.

If you are looking for recycling and organics management services in your area, the best way to find out more is to do an internet search. Many cities and townships will have information on their municipal services. If you cannot find any information, or have a less common material you hope to recycle, you can also search for recycling services on your county's website.
